I cannot believe that tomorrow...er today is September 1st! This Summer has flown by so quickly. I always feel so disconnected from the world during our breaks, but I did keep myself busy. I worked at the local library and helped with the Adult Illiteracy Program one day a week there. It was a lot of fun. I love being at the library and seeing the little kids so excited to get their new books.
Anyway, I also learned that my dad gets very testy when he thinks I'm spending too much time with my muggle friends. I can understand that though. I see them really only during Christmas, Easter, and Summer. I am sixteen now though. Mum said he's having a lot of problems at work and not to take it personally. Maybe she's right.
Anyway, I can never sleep before we leave on the train. I'm way too excited. I think I will go pack my bags and get Charlotte's cat toys packed.
